On 24th January 2024, a delegation of Our Voice Matters volunteers met in Westminster to deliver our open letter to some of the main political parties in the UK. We’re thrilled that 531 supporters, activists, volunteers and elected officials joined us in calling for stronger action from political parties in tackling sexual harassment in politics.
We’ve given copies of our open letter, along with the signatories, to the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats at their respective offices, with more parties due to receive them in the post.
The ball is now in their court. We’re waiting to hear from each party how they will respond to our campaign. If you’re a member of a party, talk to your internal committees about our campaign to keep pressure on party HQs to respond.
